The Dotos ~ Couples Session

Liz is a friend from work who asked me to do a couples session with her and her husband James.  Their story is one that is close to my heart in that  Liz and James are trying to adopt a baby.  Working with Liz I have learned so much about the adoption process and if there is one thing I can say its this; It takes a special family to be willing to go through all that Liz and James have for the chance to one day bring a baby into their home.  

And I thank them for letting me be a part of the journey.

I LOVE that I was able to catch this moment between these two.

The Kamms ~ Maternity Session

Introducing Dustin and Elisa Kamm and their soon-to-be baby girl!  I’ve known Elisa for several years and had been emailing with her since December about doing her maternity photos, but after all the rainy weekends we’ve been having we were starting to think this session would never happen.  Thankfully, last weekend we were finally blessed with a gorgeous Sunday, and Dustin had the brilliant idea to have their session at the Atlanta Botanical Gardens.  I had never been there but WOW is it beautiful.  This couple was so much fun to work with, and they are so cute!!  Elisa has the perfect little baby bump and these two could not stop smiling and laughing with each other.  :) 

Check back in a few months to see more of this adorable family once their little bundle of joy makes her debut in August!

Dirty 30 in NOLA

Well, I turned the big 3-0 in March.  I know, life is over, fun has been had.  I might as well hang up my party shoes and step into middle age in my sensible shoes, right?  I jest.  I was actually pretty excited for 30.  Thirty is not twenty… THANK GOD.

My sweet husband surprised me with a birthday trip to New Orleans.  A city I had never been to but had always wanted to visit, and now for reasons beyond bar hopping.

I wanted to share some of my pics from the Big Easy, so here they are for your viewing pleasure.

Sean Hoey ~ 6 Months Old

Believe it or not, Sean Hoey is 6 months old!!  And cuter than ever.  You should remember Sean from his baptism pictures back in January. While Sean wasn’t totally stoked about having his pictures made last weekend, I did manage to get a few good ones before he conked out for his nap.

The Rolinces ~ Family Session

Meet the Rolince Family!  After rescheduling a couple of times due to poor weather I finally got to meet this adorable family last Saturday at Newtown Park in Johns Creek.  Little Jackson turned one earlier this month and mom, Lisa, wanted to honor his birthday with a family session. It was a bit cold Saturday, but Jack hung in there until the very end.

Sean Hoey ~ Baptism

 You may recognize this little fella from his newborn pics back in July, then again you may not… he’s changed so much in 6 short months!  Sean was baptized last Saturday and man is he one laid back baby!  Not one single tear throughout the entire process.  

He is one seriously cute little boy and I was honored to be part of this special day.  The baptism took place in a beautiful church in Cumming GA, and was preformed by the Hoey’s awesome Irish priest who was thoroughly entertaining.  

There was a short window where we could get Sean’s fist out of his mouth, so I did my best to snap these pictures quickly.  :)

The Hannibal’s ~ Family Session

Those of you who follow my Facebook page may recognize Ben from his adorable entry photo in the Halloween Costume Photo Contest.  This little guy, dressed as a panda, swept the contest with 120+ ‘likes’, winning himself a free session.  Ashleigh, Ben’s mom, decided to do a shoot in Piedmont Park in downtown Atlanta in honor of Ben’s first birthday.  It was a pretty cold morning, but little Ben was a trooper.  

Ashleigh, Joe, and Ben were an absolute joy to work with and I am thrilled with how the pictures turned out!

The Compton’s ~ Family Session

When I got an email from JoAnn asking me to help her plan a surprise photo session for her husband Craig’s birthday, I was thrilled!  Craig’s sons, and their families were only in town for a few days for Christmas so we had a short window to plan the surprise.  I showed up at JoAnn & Craig’s with red balloons, and from what I could tell, Craig was totally surprised!  

The Compton’s were such a pleasure to work with.  They are a totally laid back family that spent the time between photos playing on the playground at the park.  I enjoyed meeting them all, but especially their adorable grandson, JohnWyatt.

New Pricing for 2013

Happy Tuesday to all!  I want to start by thanking everyone for making A.J. Click’s Photography’s 1st year in business a huge success!  It has been a pleasure working with each and every one of you and feel that I have grown as a photographer and a person through each of your sessions.

I wanted to take this time to announce that pricing will change for 2013.  As of Tuesday, January 1st the Pricing Tab here on the blog will be updated to include the new individual and bundle package pricing, as well as some new packaging options.

HOWEVER, if you book a 2013 session before Midnight on 12/31/2012, you can still get 2012′s prices.  That’s right, if you book any session for 2013 now you will still get the introductory price.  Just contact me and let’s get your session on the calendar.

Winters ~ Family Session

You may recognize adorable baby Libby from her newborn session about 8 weeks ago.  Faith & Ryan wanted to do a session with Libby, Faith’s sister Emily and their soon to be brother-in-law Nick for their Christmas cards.  We had to work quickly to keep baby Libby out in the cold for as little as possible.  Despite being cold, it was a gorgeous day for a session with this beautiful family.
