A Shower for Baby Chelsea

This past Saturday, I photographed Michelle Weiberg’s baby shower, and boy what a shower it was!  I don’t think I’ve ever attended a baby shower where Madonna was playing and the finger foods included crab cakes!  It was great!  Michelle’s theme for her soon to arrive little Chelsea’s nursery is Winnie the Pooh, so her sweet shower hostesses did the same Pooh theme for her shower.  I especially loved the “pot of honey” center pieces.

Baby Chelsea is due to make her arrival in early October.

Sean Hoey’s 1st Birthday!

You may remember baby Sean from some previous blogs, but today he is finally a mature one year old.  Sean’s favorite thing in his little boy world is his family’s dog, so… for the BIG first birthday, his mom Stephanie, went with a theme that was sure to please; Doggies, Doggies Everywhere!

There were puppies to adopt, doggie cupcake toppers, Hot Dogs, Best Friend Water, Pupcorn, and Puppy Chow.  Stephanie did a great job with the decor, even having puppy print decals on the walls.  Plus, I left with a Doggie Bag. 🙂

I hope Sean was impressed, because I know I was!

Mrs. Kathleen Jones ~ 100th Birthday!

Yes, you read that right… 100!  A couple of weeks ago, I had the honor of being asked to photograph a 100th birthday celebration.  I was contacted by Mrs. Kathleen Jones’ granddaughter, Tam’ra and asked to come to the hotel in Kennesaw for the party, but to also take pictures of some of the family before the event.  It was seriously a good time.  Mrs. Jones’ family traveled from as far as Boston, Texas and Jamaica, to be a part of her big day, and as it progressed, it became obvious that this is one special lady to all.  Mrs. Jones is the matriarch of her now rather large family and is the picture of class and elegance.

I loved the room decorations, and had to get a close up. 403-logoI thought this was such a sweet moment.

Be sure and check out the Facebook page this week for more pics from the event.  I usually only post a few, but there are so many from the party I can guarantee a large album. 🙂
